AUCHROISK
Home for many years to Diageo's 'Singleton' brand, these days it is a distillery which mostly churns out whisky for blending. The character is medium-bodied, biscuity and lightly fruity. A pleasant dram of which there are some very quaffable examples out there. The most characterful and probably best expressions are the aged examples from the recent year's Special Releases. The 30 year old in partticular is worth seeking out.
