Nose
This is the only one of tonights flight of mixed islay that I detect some honey, dark honey that is. The sherry and peat mix beautifully and there is a little caramel sauce bit also a little balsamic glaze.
Taste
Big peat integrating with the sherry and some fruits at first, to be honest more apple than anything else.
Some spices then kick in and hints of bubble gum and Turkish delight before most fruit cake notes emerge.
Finish
Long, elegant, good balance between peat, fruit and sherry.
