Nose:
A nice sweet and delicate nose of ripe plums, summer fruit crumble with a little custard, fresh grounded coffee, vanilla, pear drop sweets and some raspberry jam. Some of these are stronger when you smell the empty glass.
Taste:
High on the rye so the taste is sweet, but not too sweet, the balance is right, a mixture of red fruits, it's a little buttery, again, just right, there is some strong oak and nuts, swill it about and there is marshmallow, root liquorice root, bubble gum and cream soda.
Finish:
A long satisfying finish with marshmallow, vanilla oak and cream soda.
