3 years in bourbon and cognac barrels. Pleasant with final toasted notes, the palate was sweet with a dry finish and medium body. The same type, with aging of over 6 years, gave the distillate a dark amber tone with coppery notes. Excellent on the nose with strong fruity notes of citrus fruits, coffee and chocolate, in the mouth it has revealed ginger, sultanas and dried fruit.
