Colour: amber. Nose: Lots of liquorice, a very fine oakiness, hints of gentian spirit... Gets oakier and oakier with time, really full-bodied. Goes on with smoked tea, wax polish, a little coffee, funny notes of celeriac… Mouth: sweet and peaty with quite some cocoa, getting closer and closer to the current 16 yo. Lots of liquorice, wine sauce, dried ginger (speculoos), orange marmalade, lemon marmalade… Gets then slightly toffeeish and caramelly, with a rather long finish on peppered orange marmalade and smoked tea.
