The nose of this rum is very intense and has a great aromatic power. The fruity aromas dominate and explode on evolved notes (prune, stones, nuts) mixed with nutmeg and cinnamon on a woody background (undergrowth, cigar box) embellished with roasted notes (mocha).
On the palate, this Bally rum is particularly round and heady, with a strong intensity. The woody aromas of quality are present and melted, the fruity dominates in equilibrium with the nose with a slightly distinct roasted end. This Bally rum has a nice length and complexity.
This old vintage Bally displays in a beautiful balance all the power of Bally's fruity but also a great sweetness.
