An evolution of Macallan's 12 year old whisky, matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks.
Nose:
Clear, bright, fresh, flowery-cereal, malt, freshly prepared, dried wood, cold porridge, some vanilla, lemon peel.
Taste:
Sweetish with strong malt tones, oily, oak, moonshine, simple and uncomplicated, slightly harsh.
Finish:
Light, spicy with notes of ginger and pepper, light fusel moonshine shades, rather flat and watery, light oak mustard.
